Savannah, Georgia is the birthplace of the Girl Scouts, as well as their founder, Juliette Gordon Low (1860-1927). Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Scouts in 1912 for girls to be encouraged to create opportunities, embrace their strengths, and develop their full potential. Let's continue that legacy by enabling the athletic possibilities. So, what better sport to do this than Ultrarunning?

Proceeds from this race will support the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, and Rose Dhu Island. All donations though Rough Runners R4R INC will be forwarded to the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia.
