Pacers

All pacers must complete a registration form, sign a waiver, and wear an official "Pacer" bib before joining a runner. No one is permitted on the course without a big. Pacers must check in and register at the designated aid station prior to pacing.

Pacers are permitted after the 50-mile mark. Participants over the age of 70, or those who are pregnant, may have a pacer beginning at mile 30.

Pacers and crew members may purchase an all-you-can-eat aid station buffet pass.

Course & Trail Conditions

The course is a 6.25-mile trail loop that is non-technical and relatively flat, with occasional roots. It winds through the cabin and perch areas, making personal aid easily accessible for those with rentals.

Juliette Low.jpg
Girl Scout Logo.png

Savannah, Georgia is the birthplace of the Girl Scouts, as well as their founder, Juliette Gordon Low (1860-1927). Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Scouts in 1912 for girls to be encouraged to create opportunities, embrace their strengths, and develop their full potential. Let's continue that legacy by enabling the athletic possibilities. So, what better sport to do this than Ultrarunning?

Proceeds from this race will support the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, and Rose Dhu Island. All donations though Rough Runners R4R INC will be forwarded to the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia.

Please consider making a donation to support Girl Scouts of America!
