In keeping with all of the Rough Runners races, we have chosen a charity to make a generous donation to from the proceeds of this event. For Stevi’s Roost, the charity of choice is the Ogeechee Riverkeeper. This organization is wonderful, having the same values we have for nature, our waterways and our precious wildlife…”Precious” – Gollum, anyone?
Donations to Ogeechee Riverkeeper supports daily work across the watershed. ORK doesn't just protect, they revive. Their scientific techniques, community cleanup events, and legislative advocacy set them apart. They're a rebirth of the river, fostering a thriving ecosystem for fish, wildlife, and future generations to enjoy.
When you donate to ORK you're not just donating, you're actively participating in a series of transformative actions designed to rejuvenate the precious waters.
